What we collect

When you register as a worker, we collect your name, phone number, WhatsApp number (if provided), city, profession, experience, daily rate, a description of your skills, and optionally a profile photo. We use this information only to display your public profile to people looking for workers.

How your phone number is protected

Your phone number is not shown publicly on your listing by default. Visitors must tap "Call" or "WhatsApp" to reveal it, and each reveal is logged so we can prevent abuse.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to operate LabourNearMe — showing your profile to potential customers, letting you log in to manage your listing, and improving the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Profile photos are stored in a separate secure storage bucket. We take reasonable steps to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security, as is true of any online service.

You can request that your profile be removed or updated at any time by contacting us directly — see our Contact page.

Changes to this policy

As LabourNearMe grows, this policy may be updated to reflect new features (such as payments or additional cities). We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever that happens.
